Tim Water This is a scam Carson City Or Barrie Ontario

I received a letter and a check for $2990.00 on Jul/10/08. The letter said to call Tim Water which I did. I was told I could go to my bank and deposit the check and call him back. I did deposit the check and called back. I was then told to call Tim back the next day which I did. I checked the bank and the check was in there so I called Tim back and was told to go to Walmart and send a money gram for $2580 to a Sue Obishi and call back after I was done.

I sent the money gram and called Tim back and was asked for the reference number which i gave him. I was then told to go back into Walmart and make a purchase in the amount of $50 and call back which I did. When I called Tim back he said I had done everything whith in an hour so I was hired and asked me if I wanted part or full time, in which I said full time. Tim told me I would be mailed all the infornation I needed to start work.

I then went home and found out the bank had put a hold on the check and my account was in the negative by almost $1000. When I went to my bank to inqure about it they told the hold was there to veriy funds, but it looked to be a scam. I called money gram to try and stop the money from being picked up but I was too late, it had already been picked up. I looked this company up on the internet and found it to be a scam. I went to the police and was told it is definety a scam but since the company is in Canada and Nigera there was nothing they could do. The police said the Feds can't even get these guys. I was then told to contact the Attorney General's office which I am going to do Monday. Morning.
