Lost payment, harassed me for months - never could tell me which payment they lost

Wells Fargo has multiple addresses, mostly P.O. Boxes.

I always paid my payments by money order, and sent them with a return receipt. I don't know why, but I just did not trust them from the start - and I did not want them to have any of my bank information. I went through h*ll for months with rude, aggravating, daily calls from WF 'agents'. Month after month they insisted my payment was 30 days overdue. Some tried to help, but evidently were incompetent - and a few were very nasty!

They would call early A.M., on my home phone and my cell at the same time! I talked to someone different every time - no one could tell me which payment was lost. They would tell me a month, and after I faxed all the proof of payment for that specific month, they would change the month. Sometimes they even lost the faxes! I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown over it.

Finally I found someone polite and intelligent who tracked it down to a payment from the previous year! Now they add 6 months of 'late fees' to every statement. I have owned many cars, but I have never seen a company with such incompetent, rude hacks.

Oddly enough, I met 3 other people who had bad experiences with Wells Fargo! I had a really good laugh over the one 'employee' who sent in a rebuttal and tried to defend them. You need to find an employer worth defending.

To the employee who was fired because he gave advice on-line — you proved that Wells Fargo is not interested in 'helping' customers, and you can find a reputable employer. I kept records of the harassment -I would love to be included in a class action suit, and know 2 other people who would be interested.
