Attempted Ripoff false promises called us on the phone

I got the same letter from Consumer First also and I called the local television station to see if they would do a consumer fraud story on them. I sent no money to them because they had no contact information or bank information or card information and just thought it looked like something that could be printed from print shop or other publishing software by any amatuer user.

I also received a mailing with a similar offer the next day in a post card format from Tampa FL but this time with a phine number to call and the only thing for a nme it had was Activation Center. I thought I would call them and play them 50 questions. They would not tell me what bank the card was through or if it was a VISA or MASTERCARD, They told me it was a Platinum card though the closest bank to me and all they needed was my bank information to see if I qualify. I kept asking them what their bank was and they could not tell me. I refused to give them even my bank name and they got rude so I asked for thier supervisor and she repeated the same thing rudely. They all had a Arabic or Indian sounding accent and referred to we use all the banks in the US like they were somewhere else. I told them they were fraudulent and they were nasty rude then I hung up.
