Outrageous interest increase from 15% - 35% in one month

I opened my Adavanta statement today and thought there must have been an error. My charge card interest had gone from 15% to 35% and had been applied to all of my purchases. When I called them they confirmed that there was no mistake and they had raised my interest rates even though I never made a late payment to them in the 5 years that I've had the card. I immediately wrote out a check to pay off the balance and placed my cut up card in the envelope. Let the buyer beware ADVANTA is out to rip you off! Steer clear of them!
