They will sue even after the debt is settled

I had a judgement filed on me, I paid capital one in December, last year, got a confirmation number, showed on my checking account where it was deducted, and now 7 months later I received a letter saying they are taking the payment out of my checking account, claiming the payment was never made... And... Even though I have proof I did. Too... Now they say it is another account which conveniently has the same account number, and the same balance... I have retained a lawyer, anyone having the same issue should do the same it is horrible, and unjust, no more!
