NCO - Harrasment

These people have been calling me like 4 times a day for about 2 months. Usually unknown numbers or private. I don't often those anyway. Sometimes unrecognizable numbers and when I answer they call a first name like they know who they are calling. I never went for it once! I never identified myself as who they were trying to contact and told them to stop calling. They never do!
This AM got a message acting like I was in criminal trouble. Used language this is your last chance to handle this voluntarily or we are going to get blank county involved. I live in a super conservative county and that sounds frightening but I know I have done nothing criminal. I am reasonably sure that what money they are after has already been written off years ago by the original credit card company. I think this may be a time-barred debt. I'm not even saying I owe it! I just would like to get the cell phone that I pay for back! I'm to the point that I can't even answer legitimate business calls appropriately for fear it is them!
