Scammed over 2K for insurance & tax on loan from Ontario Canada

I applied for a bad credit loan through American Lending LTD, and was approved for 20K. I had doubts so my boyfriend called the BBB, and they said this company is fairly new (1998) has not had any complaints and that they are rated with 3 stars. So I felt comfortable dealing with them.

I spoke with Scott Taylor, the loan person at (888) 461-6650 ext 214. He said b/c of my bad credit I had to pay $1481 insurance via Western Union to Kayla Samuels in Canada. This money was picked up in Pickering, Ontario, Canada. I received a call a couple days later from Victoria Richards (CSR) that the loan was ready, but I need to pay tax on the loan b/c it's from Canada. I expressed to her my worries b/c there was NO Notice that a tax could come up. So she gave me info on paying tax to Alastair Hunter in Stone Ridge, Ontario, Canada. It was picked up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada which happens to be close to Pickering.

It surprises me that these people at American Lending ltd are still picking up the phone. I've called back later today after having asked many questions, so now they are not picking up. Today is May 16.

I contacted the local police, Toronto police, LA police, FBI, FTC, both Moneygram and Western Union to file this report. Speaking with these agencies is fruitless. They keep saying there's not much they can do and that this is a civil matter. I am so PISSED at these people, that they can do these type of crimes to people that really do need the money and don't have the money to afford a scam. I hope something is done to stop these people. I hope the universe will give them 10 fold the evils they unravel in this world. This is not right! Please stand up and fight for your rights in every aspect of the law and nonlaw. People take advantage just like the government is taking advantage, some police, and political people. They all need to be stopped.
