Business & Finance

So many of these stories look familiar to me. I, too, was targeted with a little yellow card, promising a credit card with a $4000 limit and a great rate.

Sure I was excited, and the person i spoke to promised me a package with all kinds of goodies, including coupons and a merchandise catalogue, along with a VISA card from a good bank, all for a $229.95 processing fee.

The company called itself "First Premiere" but they were not the same "First Premiere" credit card company that was on the Internet.

Sure I paid it—gladly! Months later, when I had received nothing, I called and was told, "Oh, September 11 has slowed everything down..."

Finally I got my package—with just a chessey mercahndise catalogue and NO Visa—just a bunch of bank names where I would have to submit an application! I was furious and started calling the company where some French-accented woman told me there was nothing to be done and my money was not refundable.

After numerous calls, I was given the name of a lawyer in Florida, whom I wrote to and faxed a few times. Believe it or not I did get back my money that time!

Six months later, in May of some company called "Central Direct" tried to take $239.00 out of my checking account—again, the company agenting for them was United CapturDyne.

I had to swear out a notarized affidavit at my bank affirming I had NEVER authorized this withdrawal, in order to get the bank to refund my money. When it happened again on October 31, I pushed the bank for information as to who was doing this.

Sure enough—sleaze capital of America, United CapturDyne! But this time, there was NO cooperation. When I called United CapturDyne for the location and whereabouts of "Central Direct, " whom I never heard of and never authorized to withdraw money from my account,
all they said was, "Oh, that company is no longer on our list. We can't help you, goodbye!"

Obviously CapturDyne knows they do business with sleazy clientele and I hold them just as responsible as the companies for whom they make withdrawals.

This is a very convenient and cozy little setup that gives BOTH companies cover&CapturDyne can say they are not the ones really taking your money; and the company enjoys nonymity and the ability to hide its whereabouts by employing United CapturDyne.

This is definitely a criminal enterprise amd UC should be held accountable! If they are doing business with crooks, they are complicit and entirely culpable themsleves, since all they are doing is assisting ripoff companies.
