My Son received a call offering a $5000 loan at 6% interest but they wanted 6 months paid up front $703.56. Then they would supposedly given the money within 24 hours. Looked up the better business bureau and found out they had 261 inquiries about them. When we asked the senior loan officer about this he said it was because of 1 customer who had a bad application and got disgruntled because he was told there was a charge to refile it. And that the BBB is like a club and charges a fee and if you don't want to pay it they leave bad info on your report.
