HSBC, gmcard Hit me with a $15 charge for paying two days early!

First, if I pay my AMX card on the day it is due it is credited.

Last month I went online at the gmcard website TWO DAYS before due date and entered my payment in full. It was immediately flagged, saying I would be charged $25 for a late payment but they would graciously accept my payment immediately for only a $15 charge! I protested and they basically said "take it or leave it"!

Now, is that a pure ripoff or not? I would urge all to never apply for a gmcard by HSBC.
