Unfair late charges, rude customer service, harrasing phone calls

I have read all the other complaints and really, really feel for everybody. I really feel that Wells Fargo should be the next victim on "Dateline".

And, I'm not kidding.

I really need to vent. Were do I start, Lets see. From the dealership. My husband wanted to purchase a new car. He was trying to finance for himself, I went with him, offered to help look at cars. The salesman, see's us together and automatically zones in on us. He says that financing would be better if both of us financed the car and me be the co-signer. (This was his first new car to purchase). We were told we would have a excellent interest rate. Well, we fell for everything he said. Scamed. Thats how it all started. We were trapped into the highest interest loan I ever seen. With wells fargo as the financers.

We were feeling pretty bad after that and decided to just keep the car and try to pay it off. Well, living in a auto industry town and we have auto industry jobs, one thing led to another. Hours get cut, no overtime, My husband got frequent layoffs. Not to mention trying to make ends meet with other bills. We fell behind in payments. (At the time of purchasing the car, we could afford it.) Things have really changed.

Then it started to happen. The harrasing phone calls. Several times a day. They called every number listed on our paperwork. Even my work, where I told them not to call. Even my boss ripped into them. They don't care. We even tried talking to them and telling them what's going on and circumstances, they don't care. They are just rude to you. And nothing you tell them gets pass that person on the phone your talking to. So its a repeat call every day and your telling the next rude one the same story, Eventually we gave up and just quit answering there calls. The calls get worse when you do this.

Now we are dealing with unfair late charges which are already included when we send our late payments. They keep balooning it up, making it so you can't catch up or get a break. The so called customer service rep was really rude to me and basically insulted my intelligence because I know we are paid up to date with no late charges, They are scamming and I know it. The us government has programs in congress for housing foreclosure, they should do something about auto loans to. And credit cards. I have just had enough and at my wits end with wells fargo. I just had to share our experience, and WARN! Warn! Warn! Do not do any business with this bank!!!
