I Signed consent letter from Pressler, can i still fight the alleged debt

This month i got a letter from Pressler & Pressler stating that i own them $2,700 & if i don't pay them they will garnish money of my pay, i got scared so i gave them a call telling them that i will pay this amount. So a few days later i got a consent letter from them, which i signed & sent back. My question is can i still fight this alleged debt. After signing their consent letter.
BTW... I lost my copy of the consent letter.
