Long story short, Washington Mutual lowered my credit line by almost $1,000 immediately after I paid my entire balance off.
LONG STORY:
I was on vacation in las vegas, planning to pay for my room with my wamu credit card, and on the second day of my trip I called to check my balance and found out they had lowered my credit line by $1000.
This, after paying my ENTIRE BALANCE.
Basically because of my situation, I was left with no way to pay for my room on check-out. I called and spoke to over five people over the course of 3-4 hours and was treated rudely and absolutely no one would help me. I was so sick of hearing "I'm sorry mam" IF YOU WERE SORRY YOU'D FIX IT!!!
It's been about two weeks since they initially lowered it, I've spoken to multiple more people and they absolutely will not budge and reinstate my origional credit limit. I still have not received notice. They have my telephone number on file, obviously my mailing address as well. NO NOTICE.
So tell me wamu, what was I supposed to do??
