A.R. C Accounts Recovery Corporation (Salina)

Recently I recieved A letter from A.R. C accounts recovery corporation, whom I had never heard of, in regards to resolving my student loan account. It stated that they wanted to work with me to establish a payment plan or settlement. I found this odd due to the $250 payment I was making each month. I called the number given in the letter, where I met the lovely "SALINA". I gave her my name and account# noted on their letter, waited while she pulled the file.

At that time she informed me that I hadn't been making paymentsand started to rhyme off all the things in my credit history. I simply stated that that was incorrect and that I had documentation showing that I had been making the payments, her response was that "I needed to loose the attitude"" She would be starting legal action against me". She then began screaming for maybe 5 min. While my mother and I stood in my kitchen shocked by the vulgarity and absolute inappropriateness and unprofessional behaviour.

I attempted to speak again but was quickly interupted by her sarcastic comments ie: "go run to your mommy and daddy" "where's your husband maybe I should talk to him". She continued to scream at which time I looked at my mother and said "What am I supposed to do?" I tried to say something for a third time and she continued to scream at me and tell me to loose my attitude, so I hung up!!! She immediately called my home number back which I did not pick up. Strangly enough the company I have been paying for my student loan is called Metro Credit Adjusters, so who the hell is A.R. C Recovery Corporation?
