Harassed my family with clearly illegal statements, made false claims against me nationwide

United Collection Bureau violated a number of collection laws, including calling a family member with the same last name as mine repeatedly and threatened to "discredit" my name with the neighbors, verbally threatened my family member, and refused to stop calling when my family member demanded they stop.

I "understand" they bought my debt from Citibank but they refuse to provide any documentation of this. They also claimed I signed a contract with them, but as I only spoke to them on the phone, I have asked them to send me a copy of this. I guarantee I signed no contract by telephone.

Their representatives have been rude, abusive, and threatening to the point that I have hung up on them. They have implied that they can seize my property and generally make my life hell. If Citibank chooses to use United Collection Bureau, I will no longer have any dealings with Citibank, either.
