Credit Card w/$2000 limit to rebuild credit $200 deposit required

Warning! Please do not give these people any information. They called me about 13 times and I called back. They offered a credit card with a limit of $2000 with 8.9% interest rate. At first I thought it sounded legit;however, when the rep told me someone would call me back and they just wanted my checking account info but didn't check credit, I knew something was not right. A "Mr. Sevity" called me back to verify all of my info, he then said a $200 deposit was required. At that time I told him I was not interested and wanted all of my bank acct info deleted and to not be called again. He basically hung up on me before verifying that he understood my wishes.

I called again and spoke to Kimberly who assured me my info was not in the sytem. I then received another call about an hour later. I called back to tell them to take me off the list and do not call me. The rep who answered would not give me his name, told me I was a "real trip" and said I didn't understand what they were offering me. I told him I completely understand and did not want it. At no time did I raise my voice and he hung up on me.

I called back and spoke to a nice rep named Kevin, who again assured my that my acct would not be debited $200 and that none of my info was in their computer and told me that he would take my number out of the data base. I do not see how these people are getting away with this. They are blatantly stealing from people. Please, someone do something about this.
