Orange Future
Unauthorized credit charge of 199.00

Business & Finance

I had been on craigslist looking at housing. There were several listings for single family homes for rent on the south coast. I called Orange future (a listing on the site) for more information. I spoke with a gentleman that stated he would need my information to set up a user name and password for their site. He also stated that he needed a valid CC to insure my idenity and credit check. My card was to be charged 1.00 at that time witch is very standard procedure these days. I didn't think anything of it. That was well over a month and a half ago. Today April 1st 2008 a charge of 199.00 appeared on my Credit Card from this company.

Originally the 1.00 charge NEVER appeared and I did not obtain a user ID or password from them. I figures since I used a debit and the 1.00 was not available I could not gain access to their site and honestly forgot about them entirely. As stated that was a month ago or more. This morning changed all that. I had to cancel my card and have no access to my funds for 7-10 days until another arrives. I tried to send then am email to get a DAEMON return instead. This company is bogus and USE CAUTION if approached by them.

It was my stupidity for giving them my info and theirs for charging me since I am taking legal action and am bringing this as public as I can.
