USA FInancial
Ripped off during family crisis

Business & Finance

I was contacted by usa financial stating that I had been pre-approved for a pre-approved credit card for re-building my credit. I had been on the computer looking at companies in refrence to credit rebuilding. They deducted $200 from my checking account on March 10th and I received a paper credit card on March 27th. I was shocked to see that I had been duped. As soon as I opened the envelope I knew that I had been avictim of a scam. I am upset because at the time my fiance was just being released from intensive care and I felt as though the card would be able to take us through this slump (financial) that we were falling in due to his accident. As I saw today that will not be happening. I feel real stupid because I am normally very cautious when talking with someone on the telephone. I guess that caught me at avulnerable time.
