BBandT Changed policy on fund availability without notice comfirmation. Charged me $595 for fees

Business & Finance

Checked my account over the phone and found out my account was $-411.00. Went to the bank to find out why and the lady told me they had changed the policy on funds availibility. I had deposited my husbands payroll check on Saturday, like I had been doing for the last 15 years and apparently with the new policy changes, the funds were not available until Tuesday. They use to be available on Monday. All the checks I had written over the weekend, thinking I had money in the bank, went through Monday causing them to bounce. They charged me $350 that day, $105 the next day and $140 the third day for insufficient fund fees. They said they had given out flyers about the change but I never received one. They refused to refund any of my money.

I think they are just ripping people off. I immediately changed banks. I don't have extra money laying around to give away. The money they took from me was my whole paycheck for 2 weeks.
