Recently my wife and I had been recieveing harrassing phone calls at home and her place of business. We feel that this company "Cash Today" had outsourced the work of collection to a company in London England. My wife had borrowed 200.00 back in August and normally companies like this take out 50.00 dollars every 2 weeks 3 times then start taking 50.00 plus 15.00 increments till the loan is paid. We understood this and reluctenly agree to the arrangements, but in this case they took out 79.00 every 2 two weeks without any decrease in the loan. Finally we had put a stop payment on these payments and the company still tried to collect.

After a few months of the bank rejecting their demand for payment, they started calling my wife and me at home (not during normal working hours) and I was polite at first telling them after paying 2765.00 we felt that the loan had been paid, they informed me all that money was a "processing fee" and we owed another 480.00 to pay the loan off completely. They refused to understand; I could barely understand them as they were Indian (Asian) and refused to let me talk with a supervisor. They kept talking non stop telling me that I was in "big trouble" refusing to pay. Finally I hung up feeling that I was getting no where. A few minutes later they called back and started again. I told them they were not to call the house again and we were NOT going to pay the 480.00 as enough is enough.

This went on for quite awhile besides they called my wife's job and called her a f*king b*ch. That is what broke the camel's back and even my wife's boss got into the act and said something to them, but they dont call the house or her work anymore, but personally I dont think it is over till we change our account information and phone.

To the person reading this, I know it is long, but I urge all of you NOT to deal with these cut throats and if you had by chance get a loan, pay your loan and maybe some interest then put a stop payment on the account. Also really dont get any of these quick internet loans, it will cost you more than what you realyze.
