Imagine this scenario... You are walking with a long time companion, a professed friend, when you stumble on a unseen root and fall to the ground. Your companion falls upon you and begins to tear at you, as if to devour you. The longer you lay, the more debilitated you become. Whats wrong with this picture?
In my case the companion was my bank... They never miss an opportunity to "feed" on me.
Since First Merit acquired my bank about 5 or 6 years ago, I have given up something in the neighborhood of 2,000 dollars. I let them close my account, I will never do business with them again. They are suing me for unpaid charges. Screw em.
