Ripoff the business that doesn't give a dam

Loan was with the Money Store originally, then sold to HomeQ, and I have had nothing but problems since. I have 2 loans with them, and I send in my payments, 2 separate checks with the loan account number on each check, and each check attached to statement.

Well they apply the payment where ever they want to, making me late on one of the loans, therefore I get charge a late fee. Excuse me, but common sense needs to come in at some point. I also lost my job back in February and the job I have now pays a lot less, and I am having a hard time staying on top.

I ask if they would consider re-doing my loan and the lady in California actually laughed at me. But I may have the last laugh on them. When the house was appraised, it was over appraised, so I owe more on the house than what it can be sold.

So if I default on the loan, then they will be stuck. I know they can try and get the difference from me, but what are they going to do if I don't pay. Report it on my credit, well they have already screwed up my credit. I don't think any company with the attitude that they have needs to remain in business.
