Bank Of America Credit Card
Deception and Fraud, Authorizing use of a card my father didn't even know about

I am Power of Attorney for my father and have been. Several months ago I took away the only two credit cards he had, before a trip He doesn't use them much. I receive all of his mail and had received a Bank of America cardI knew he did not order it as He does not business without me so I kept the card to check it out further. My father went on the trip. A month later I
receive a bill from Bank of America for $11,781.00. Since I had this card and it was not authorized and since my dad does not ever spend that kind of money I called him and he had no idea what I was talking about. He only had a gas card.

Then I attempted to find out from Bank of America on December 17 what was going on. First it was Fax in your Power of attorney, After 19 calls, then they needed a sent in notarized one which was done, after another
10 calls, they needed an original and it was sent directly from the attorneys office I have now spent 72 and 1/2 hrs trying to get them want they want. I asked and included a return envelope for the Power of attorney
and was told it was not an original and would not be returned all this through customer service. 13 promises of call backs and there were none, finally today on the l8 they tell me I must request in a letter to get my Power of attorney back which of course I had already done when I had sent it in and then get a seal on it to validate it before they can approve it and I can do anything to find out how they could allow such
a charge on a card that I have in my possession and my dad never even knew the Bank of America existed let alone that he had a credit card there.

So it there no way to make this company comply to any law, any rules or regulations My dad has very little money left can't walk, think and has a heart problem. I am on medication just trying to deal with this ridiculous hoop jumping.

Advice for everyone don't deal with this company, it may cost you everything.
