Failed to honor withdrawal request upon CD maturity On-line: location of my accounts

Day after maturity of CD I telephonically arranged to close the account and have check sent to me. Told to expect check 5-7 business days. When no check arrived I telephoned and was told my information was sent to wrong department. Once more I arranged for closing the account and told to expect check in 5-7 business days.

Nothing happened except for letter in mail indicating the CD had been renewed on the maturity date for another 18 months. Telephoned CD department again and was told the account would be closed and that I would receive check in 2 days. I verified that the account no longer appears on my list of accounts, but to date have received no check.

The Bank of America provides no accounting information as to what may have tranpired except periodic interest earnings. There is nothing except a telephinic link and an on-line site which provides "customer service" to which I addressed an e-mail message but with no response.
