Rip-off tricked and lied to us by taking multiple payments Check-By-Phone

Made arrangements to make payments Check-By-Phone on the 4th and 31st of October. Company did the Check-By-Phone transactions on the 6th and 7th of October, with the 31th still pending.

When my wife confronted them with the error, they claim that I (her husband) approved the second transaction. Since I don't have authority to acess HER CHECKING ACCOUNT, I made no such promise.

I am currently unemployed and cannot make any financial decisions, I just add my unemployment check to the pot.

After arguing with FOUR representatives, they said they would refund the second amount WHEN WE PROVIDE PROOF from the bank that the transaction occurred. This will take the bank 5-7 days before our statement arrives.
