Even the IRS described as "Unconscionable"

I hired Mr. Covic at the recommendation of my ex-CPA to represent me before the IRS for an Offer in Compromise on some back taxes. Mr. Covic consistently over ran his retainer and demanded more money. All the time blaming his cost overruns on the IRS. He took me for $20,000.00 and did nothing but make my case worse.

I have since reviewed the situation with several attorneys who have described him as a "thief" "liar" and "incompetent". They repeatedly stated that it should have been an open and shut matter done for a fee of $2,500.00

The IRS revenue agent described the situation as an unconscionable amount of money for work that was done wrong, and that they provide the service for free. It resulted in doubling my debt with fees and interest due to delays.
