On July 7th I recieved a call asking me to apply for a credit card in the amount of $2,500.00, along with a package containing benefit infomation about other company's special offer. I was told I would receive the package in the mail within a month.

It was told to me by a representative that if I decide to keep the benefit package there will be a fee of $59.95 but I had seven days to reply after I received the package. Then they would charge a membership fee of $99.00 for the card and an application fee of $29.99 if I choose the card.

I never received a package. On 7/31/02 a deduction of $59.95 plus $99.00 was taken from my checking account without warning. On 8/23/02, I made a call to Capital First about the withdrawal. They told me I did not call to cancel the benefits for the card. I told them I never even received any package to call and cancel.

I explain to the representative that this is a fraudulent deal, that they can take peoples money and never sent them anything. And all I got was a slap in my checking account.

He gave me an address to sent in a cancellation notice and a copy of my bank statement and overdraft letter because the money was not available and stated they should respond within 14 days. I have not to this received any response.

I called back on 9-20-02 to ask what happen to my money. Some guy told me it should be deposit on 9-22-02. I still have not received it. I call to ask about a fax number that one of the other representatives said they had then I was told there is not fax number. I started to get the run around after that. No one wanted to talk to me.

I am very dissappointed with this situation so I decided to find out information on the internet. Boy was I surprised to find out I was not the only one in this situation.
