Scam artists, facilitate credit and hope people don't get the bill on time or forget to pay

I bought a piano and was told I would be billed by the Credit company (GE Money) after 3 months. I never got the bill and I believe it must have gone to an old address since I had moved recently. Not sure how that happened since I fill out the CC application with the new address. I finally got something in the mail (at the correct address) asking me to call the customer service center. I called and said I would pay off everything as soon as they sent me the bill to the new address. I also made sure that they would not charge me additional interest for being late.

When the bill came I paid off the full amount. One month later I had my credit report pulled and found out they report me with a false amount - the cc report says I did not pay something like 11.00 on the card. Brought my credit score down about 80 to 100 points.

I have not been able to resolve this and they make it very difficult to talk to a real person. Also, if you don't have the account number you cannot log into the account online and there is not way to get a human being to answer questions.
