Chase Amazon Visa Fees

Last month I sent my full payment in, as I always do. When my bill came, I noticed that the payment was not processed until four days later. I thought it would be posted within 24 hours so I used the card over the weekend. I was wrong and charged a $39 dollar over limit fee. I called to ask what happened and the customer service rep told me that while my payment was recieved on Friday, it was not processed until monday. The bill was due on saturday. Because Chase Visa says that thier payments are posted within twenty four hours, I used the card and I went over the limit on Sunday. So I asked her "Let me get this right. You can see on your computer that my payment was recieved on Friday but it was not put in until monday. But you still charged me a late fee on saturday and an over limit fee on Sunday even though you had a check for my FULL payment in the office." She told me that was correct because they do not process payments on the weekend, only fees. I thought that was outragous, but I still paid the fees. I did not use the card AT ALL the next month. Bill comes. Once again they said they recieved the payment for my overlimit fee one day late. There was no way the payment was late as I payed it right away. They gave me a late charge on the overlimit fee and that put me over the limit so I was hit with an overlimit fee. Then they charged me a finance charge on the late overlimit fee. I called and argued, did NOT yell or swear, but was rather angry, and the customer service rep hung up on me. Fun times.
