Heads up for those in Twin Cities Area

I am a soon to be college grad looking for jobs in the Twin Cities area, so I looked on some of the more popular job sites and came across these companies:
Micalam Group, Inc.
Twin City Events, Inc.
IronLink International, Inc.
Davis Direct Marketing, Inc.
I applied to all of them and I received responses from all of them within one day. Of course I was skeptical from the lack of information about any of them and the overly vague job descriptions posted on Career Builder, but I scheduled an interview with Micalam Group anyway.
WOW, was that a joke! The interviewer gave his spiel about the company and its opportunities and how it was a subsidiary of a larger company (he never mentioned the parent companys name). He explained to me this would be a short interview and as it began to come to a close I asked him if he wanted to know more about me and my resume. His answer was, within the first thirty seconds I know whether or not Im going to hire someone. I guess the only qualification for this job is that you have to be breathing!
Their advertising is deceptive, but perhaps some people can make a living off selling dollar store merchandise on full commission. But cmon people is that what you really want to be doing? They seem to target recent college grads, but if you have a degree dont throw it away selling plastic toys at a gas station.
By the way, I always find it alarming if a company wants to set up a preliminary face to face interview, rather than a phone interview. Most companies wont do this, especially if they are aware you are not from the area. I think this group of companies does it only to make their claims seem more legitimate. I have to admit, the office building I interviewed in was rather nice and for a moment my skepticism was alleviated.
Basically, if something is too good to be true it probably is.
