Misinformed about rate freeze

On January 9th I spoke to representative, Mark, regarding the rate change on my ARM mortgage payments effective next month. I asked him if ASC was offering any alternative programs. He told me that ASC was offering a program that would freeze payments for five years. I told he I was definitely interested and asked what I had to do. He said that all I had to do was
sign a form which he would mail out for my signature. Two weeks past and in the meantime I received my mortgage statement which increased an additional $604.00/month.

Today, I spoke to Michelle who said: "there is no form to sign unless you QUALIFY. ASC is the one who determines who qualifies based on the governments guidelines. Homeowners who qualify will be notified
the end of next month and in the meantime I should make my payment." I asked if I could make some type of arrangement with ASC which she declined.
