SOMEONE THAT HAS BEEN THRU THIS, I BEG YOU TO ADVISE ME BEFORE I SIGN THIS FORBAREANCE AGREEMENT DUE NEXT WEEK Notice of Foreclosure/wanting money and a signed Forebarance agreement... Someone help?

To anyone that has some advice to help me concerning Fairbanks / SPS:

We were just discharged form Chapter 13 (we had to file because my husbands heart surgeries), & now, last month right at Christmas we got our loan pament returned with a letter that they would only accept "a ridiculous late & insurance fees & attorneys fees in the amount of $13,424.85).

We were in Shock & still are. Now they want to foreclose or we can enter into a forebarance agreement? (which we no nothing about) They want $5,000.00 plus our notes would go up an additional 400.00 a month for 6 months and then a balloon payment, that will show in 6 months, will be determined if they "will NOT foreclose".

Has anyone done this and have any regrets or advice before we sign anything?"OUR" records (which is so different from theres), show we are only (after 6 years) 4 payments behind, and owe $4,100.00 because of late fees & loss work and a lost job from hurricane katrina. I am SO scared and we cannot afford an attorney. Please help?! We have worked so hard to get back on track and now this. I am so very worried and depressed that we will have to file ANOTHER Chapter13? And at our age s (50's). OMG, I cannot believe this is happening to us! I;d appreciate any advice or help please? Payment is due end of month!
