Oakwood They are Very harrassing and what a ripoff

My Husband bought his home in 94 and it was through Oakwood. Then Vanderbilt took over. For the first Ten years we paid the finanace charges while nothing went toward principal. Then finally we started paying toward the principal and they called everyday. If I paid on time they would still call to see when I was going to make the next months payment. They called my contact numbers and asked personal question of the relationship of me and my husband. They then tried to foreclose on our home, when I tried to call and dicuss this they said my name wasn't listed on the account so they couldn't talk to me. But when they sent the default papers my name was on them. I then called to get the payoff info for our trailer and they wouln't give it to me said I was behind on payment and I had to pay those payments and they would release the information. Then they didn't like the fact we wanted to pay off our trailer because they would lose money. They were constantly rude with us and always demanding more money from us. Anyone dealing with them please be aware of the lawsuits they have pending for harrassment. Also they have a lawsuits pending on Insurance fraud. Be very aware of them this company doesn't play by the laws.
