Cashed my check and will not credit my mortgage account

We made a payment by check in Oct. 2007 and Amc/Citiresidential tried to cash it twice. They cashed it the first time and then tried to cash it a second time as my bank has gave me two copies of the same check they cashed and I have given my bank statemtents, copies of the check, copies off the internet showing they took the money from my bank account and yet they still refuse to credit my mortgage statement for the money they have. Every time I call they say they need more info, I sent it and they say wait 2 weeks and we will look at it, I wait call back in 2 weeks just to find out I need to send something else and wait 2 weeks again... I have been doing this since Oct. And still nothing. Today they tell me my check was ISF!!! There is no way... It shows on my bank statement that they took my money and my check was cashed... All in the while I am trying to sell my house and have a buyer but am unable to sell it due to they are not crediting my account the $800 I gave them and they are adding that along with a ton of late fees on my account to my final balance... I am affraid if I do sell my house and keep on trying to get my money from Amc/Citiresidential that My $800 will be lost and they will get to keep it... Also I just get a letter today saying my rate is goin from 9.75 to 10.75 percent... I thought that the interest rates were comming down and my adj. Rate was suppose to go with what todays rate is... I agree there is no justice with this company!!!
