Questions about "refunds, " release form, collection threats and id theft

Another victim. I canceled about 2 weeks after I signed the contract. My "Tax Consultant" (used car salesman) "made up" a story to get me to sign. Big surprise. Too bad I didn't find complaint before and cancel my appointment.

The "PRO" group has "considered" my case. They sent me a Release and letter saying that I'll get back 75% of my payment once I signed their ridiculous release. Yeah, right. I've seen threads here about taking them (and their "Tax Consultant") to small claims court and winning. How has anyone actually collected from a slimy, bogus company in South Carolina? I'd love to know.

I'm also wondering if anyone knows if there are any Identity Theft problems with J K Harris. Ex employees might know. Harris has our Social Security Numbers, names, signatures, addresses, bank account and credit card numbers. I'm guessing our paperwork is not locked up in fireproof file cabinets.
