Scheming Dirtbags consumer fraud ripoff

I recieved mail from Peoples Credit First saying how I was pre-approved for $5000.00 limit credit card with a membership fee of $49.00. I'm a struggling college student so I was thrilled to be eligible for credit. I don't have a credit history at all and am trying to build one.

I haven't heard from the scheming dirtbags yet and I wished I would have checked online before sending the 49.00 b/c I was jsut beginning to get suspicous of the fact that they have no contact info. And when I typed the Company name online this site came up immediately.

I really hope that I can retrieve my money but if not that's one expensive lesson. Also they have my checking account number so I'm scared to death that they're going to hack into it. I just ordered some new checks with that account for alot of money so I would prob lose that money too if I change my account. Justice needs to prevail.
