USAA Charged me non-sufficient funds fees when money was in my account to cover debits

USAA is by far the worst bank I've ever had the displeasure of banking with. They charged me $172 in non-sufficient fund fees when there was money in the account to cover the debits. They have done this twice. The first time I was able to get the fees back, but then they turned around and did the same thing within the following week and recouped the same $172 they had returned to me. Again there was sufficient money in the account to cover the debits. My statement shows almost $300 in my account when they denied one $40 check and charged me a $29 NSF fee. If you are in the military or work somewhere that allows you to bank with USAA, DO NOT DO IT! They will rape you with bogus fees and refuse to give them back. They try and explain their system, but have no explanation of why the record they give you doesn't match their explanation. I am going to take my bank statement to my base Judge Advocate Office (JAG) to see if they can help me recover these ridiculous fees. I'm also closing my account.
