Ripoff liars BIG TIME scam artists dirty SOB's

We recieved a phone call from Donna Kelly, an older sweet sounding lady informing us we have been approved for an unsecured credit card with a 3,000.00 limit.

Not unusual, we get those calls all the time since we bought our house. She informed me that my husband had applied for a credit card recently (which he had) and that company had rejected us and given her company our information.

She told me that there was a one time setup fee of 299.00 (which isnt all that uncommon) and that it could be directly debited from our account. I discussed it with my husband we agreed that at the time we could use the extra money to fix our truck and some back to school clothes.

I remember asking this woman about the card, how soon it would be here and making sure it was NOT a card for magazine purchases only etc. She no no no as soon as you get this card you can run right out to the store and go on a "shopping spree".

They debited the money from our account and about a month later we called and got put on hold forever finally we were told that our "memebership" package should be sent out shortly. We received this "package" of usless information and no card. We called back, were told that they do not "personally" issue the card, the bank does and we should send the application form, ok, we did that, still... No card.

The we find out this is a fraudulent company, they offer this credit card as a 3rd party and it is NOT a credit card it amounts to nothing more than an ATM card. I called my bank, I am not sure I am going to be able to get my money back, I can dispute the charges but that is it.

I called united financial and asked them what the 299.00 was for he told me it was for application fees handling, blah blah blah and benefits package. Benefits??? What the hell are they talking about, they sent me offers to buy other things no doubtly from them. I told him I didnt want thier services and I wanted a refund, he told me he would give my name to Ian Mcdonald, and he would contact me in 24 hours, ya right.

SO word to the wise, do not send these people money, if you want to pay 300 bucks for useless information send me 300 bucks and I will send you my copy
