Cheap bastards! Rip off the people who pay their bills!

American express ruining our good credit for no reason!!!

We have or had 2 American Express Credit Cards among the cards we have about a dozen & use the same 6 or so over & over so we don't have to carry cash. THE CREDIT CRUNCH must be approaching as these idiots (American Express) went & canceled one of our accounts (credit card), WE NEVER paid late, NEVER defaulted, NEVER bankruptcy or any thing, always paid on time, every month all payments. WE NEVER EVER HAD A CARD CANCELED IN OUR LIFE'S UNLESS WE CALLED TO HAVE IT CANCELED TO CLOSE IT!

So what do the idiots do, canceled our 1 American express account & left the other one open as I imagine they will close soon. They must be hurting for money after making their sub prime moron loans to people who they knew would never be able to afford them in the 1st place. So now it seems they cancel accounts of people who have excellent & good credit as we do!!! Never had bad credit ever; my wife or i! But we get canceled? They just demolished our credit with what they did & they thought it was funny!!! The representative was freaking laughing about it!!!

the card loss is no biggie as we have a few & won't miss it that 1k card too much. Their excuse to cancel the account was, there are to many inquires to our credit report. I was like are you serious? I haven't seen it before this nor do I check them that often. Why are people/businesses checking my/our credit reports other then when I/we say OK to it? I/we Had more credit cards & loans & less income when we received the card over a year ago.

We make average of 65k a year & this year made 102k! (Due to a Physical Injury settlement-finally paid lost wages) The most every & we get canceled? Who the freak do they give credit to? Only multi millionaires?

I am sure as hell glad I don't own their stock! Soon to drop like a hot potato like the other snobby ignorant banks & bankers thinking their above every one else. As usual if we sue we pay thousands to get hundreds, their should be laws against these bastards doing things like this. Now I think I know why most people don't have American Express cards. Even when they do give them out they suck @ PR & consumer relations!!!

I'm going to tell American Express what they can do with their other card, & no I wont be nice to them!
