Ameritrust lending services - stewart hall - matthew turner. Took advantage of my finincial problems and made the much worse

On 11-14-07 after being denied for several loans by other company's, i received a call from matthew turner who claimed to be with ameritrust lending services. He said i was approved for a loan for $7,000 which i had applied for 3 days earler. He faxed me a commitment letter, loan agreement, and a loan disbursement form. According to the commitment letter they required 6months of payments $980.00 up front to secure the loan.

I was told by mr. Turner that the sooner i got them $984.96 the sooner i would get the loan. I told him i was already behind and couldn't afford this. He told me i would have the money the next day if i wired the money to ms. Lisa young, in glenora, bc, canada. I did this and several hours later i got a call from mr. Turner stating ms. Young was unable to access the money i wired to her.

I called money gram and corrcted this problem which i found out later was due to ms. Lisa young being on a goverment watch list. Mr turner assured me that there would be no more suprises and the $7000 would be direct deposited into my account the next day.instead i got a call from stewart hall also with ameritrust as a customer support person. He said there was a problem and the lender needed another 6mo of payments to secure the loan. I fliped out as i already gave them everything i had and now was unable to pay my rent or car payment among other bills that were piling up fast. He told me my other option was to get a refund but i wouldn't get it until the 29th of november almost 2 weeks away.

I reluctantly asked my mother for another $1,000 to send them to secure the loan and i told here i would return her money to her once i had the loan in hand the next day. My mom who works as a loan officer herself called and spoke to stewart hall, and called me back and said to go for it and that this loan was good for me and would help me re-build my credit.

So i wired them another $980.00. The next day came and went and still no money. I called several times and didn't receive a call back until the day after i was supposed to get my loan. It was stewart hall again
and he had more bad news, he said the lender backed out and he had to get his legal team on it as they were in breach of contract. He once again said i had 2 options, one being try to get a larger loan for $14,000 and send them more money or he could still honer the november 29th refund date. This time i told him to refund my money asap. He said the 29th was the best he could do.
Well the 29th came and went and now when i call the same number as before the line picks up and says "good bye" then hangs up. The website is unavailable and i guess i'm just s.O.L.

I will be filing a police report with the wilton, ct police and the illinois attorney general. These guys are scum and i hope no one else falls for this scam. Please if you have already file complaints with your states attorney general and wilton, ct police. Maybe it will prevent them from getting anyone else.
