Fraud insurance, Rip Off, bad lender, harrassment

I mistakenly got into a auto loan with wells fargo financial. And I have NEVER had so many problems with a lender in my LIFE!!! As soon as I drove the car off the lot about a month (Oct) later I got a notice from Wells fargo auto finance claiming I had not car insurance and that if I didn't provide proof of the insurance they would attach a 1,500 insurance to the principal of my Loan.

I immediately called Progressive (my auto insurance at the time) and they faxes wells fargo (at 1-866-595-1275) the information they needed. I never heard about it again until February. When Wells fargo attached a $260 additional Insurance charge to my monthly payment.

When I called to find out why, Wells Fargo claimed they never got the original fax. I then made sure I got a cover letter requiring everything they needed and faxed over the proof of insurance that night. I continued to play this Dance with wells fargo for a YEAR!!! I would fax over info and they would claim they never got it. I asked to speak to supervisors and continuously got hung up on, and no assistance from these people.

In addition to paying the extra $260 I also had to continue paying my auto insurance since wells fargo overpriced and forcibly attached insurance covered NOTHING!!!

Finally in Oct (yes a whole 12 months later) I hit a break through when the agent told me that they had received my fax, but that the Lien-holder information read "Wells Fargo Finance" Instead of "Wells Fargo AUTO Finance" and that they would not update their records until that was adjusted.

After an hour with the rep I advised them that they need to verify some of this information since I am THEIR Customer and have complied with all of their ridiculous commands. The agent advised he would send it over to a team that would attempt to call my insurance and get the issues resolved.

On Nov 14 I finally received a letter from Wells Fargo Auto Finance claiming the insurance had been successfully removed and that I was being credited for the additional amounts I paid. (I wont even go into the fact that they didn't credit me monthly payments, send me a check back, or anything like that, they simply applied the additional money to the principal of the loan. Or that they refused to acknowledge my original insurance "progressive" as progressive was no longer my insurance and also read the lien-holder as Wells Fargo Finance instead of Wells Fargo Auto Finance)

BUT NOW!!! I am having a whole new issue! Now the representatives are claiming that the Car Insurance is currently still attached, When I told them I have a letter claiming that the insurance has been removed I was told by SEVERAL representatives that they don't see it, and if I Don't make my payment they will make sure to notify the credit Bureaus. AND when I finally said forget it and just went to trade my vehicle in they have the balance of my loan at 5,000 over what I originally purchased!!! AND did not even update the records to show the payments I did the last WITH the additonal $1500 they shook me down for!!!

DO NOT GET WELLS FARGO ANYTHING!!! Your better off going to some crooked bookie for a loan, at least they wait for u to default. Wells fargo FORCES u to default!!
