Scam Sweepstakes Award / Check enclosed requiring "activation"

I received a letter in the mail that included information about a sweepstakes in which I won $92,000. The envelope did not have a company name on the return address and came from Toronto, ON. Enclosed with the letter was a check for $2980.60 "to help you towards the payment of the administrative fees and applicable taxes".

The checked looked real! So I jumped on the internet because I am hardly believe these things are real only to find the same exact theng was written by another individual on this website!

Judging from his e-mail I will no pursue it any longer but would love to scam them back! Thank goodness there are websites like this to keep the gullable from getting hurt.
