PEOPLES CREDIT FIRST CARD ripped off too!

I submitted an application and sent a check to peoples first credit card for a platinum visa with rush priority on july 17. It is now september 12th. No card, no nothing. I was not aware of this fraudulent practice until i inquired online regarding this matter. I would appreciate any help with this matter.
