I had an etrade accoutn for years, but i qwas never a very active trader, as i actually stopepd trading for a while. Last year I went back into my account bought soem stock for long term. I never had any fees charged from them in the past btw.
They were now charging me $40.00 per quarter, which I did not know until I check my accoutn six months later. I decided to move my account then they charged me another $60 to transfer.
When speakign with customer service they were rude and nasty. They are certainly aware they are just picking on small time investors.
Hopefully enough of us speak up and a firm will egt a class action suit going to get out fees back.
