Daily calls, late reports and supervisor refusing to help

We had a loan with Equicredit that was sold to Fairbanks. Since we have been with them we have had nothing but hassles. We got behind for the first time on the mortgage and they called us everyday, sometimes up to 3 times a day. When we told them we paid it and had a cancelled check to prove it they still continued to call us.

We made payment arrangements to get caught up and they still reported us late and sent foreclosure notices every week. We were ready to make our final pymt on the arrangement plan when we received a notice with an additional 500.00 tacked on. We called to see why and were told that the rep that did our payment arrangements set them up wrong. We did not understand what she said so called back and the next rep Al, employee #3d66 told us we needed to speak to the rep that we spoke to since they all figure payment plans out differently. You would think they would have a procedure set up for something like that.

At this point we asked for his supervisor but he refused to get a supervisor stating that he was as high as we would get. He even said please hold and proceeded to listen to the conversation my husband and I were having! Then he said he would not transfer us and good luck calling back and trying to get one and hung up on us.

We finally got a supervisor, Ms. Whittaker who validated the rep's actions and tried to turn it all around on us. She refused to elevate the call higher.

They do not know the meaning of the words Customer Service. This company should be shut down. Now they have ruined our credit rating so much that nobody accept us for refinancing to get out from under their thumb.
