Homecomings Financial A Division Of GMAC What A Bunch Of Idiots! Non-responsive, rude and very little knowledge as to what they are doing

Unfortunately my home loan was purchased from People's Choice Loans by Homecomings Financial. I got sick when I found out. I currently have two loans-my primary loan and a secondary loan.

I am trying to re-finance to get away from them so I called today (9/11/07) to obtain a payoff so I could forward it to my refinance person. After 5 phone calls and three of them were forwarded and then no one ever picked up the line I finally got ahold of a person.

This person was not American and couldn't answer my questions and kept repeating himself-finally I asked for a manager.

I don't think he ever did understand that all I needed was a verbal pay-off. He kept telling me that it would have to be figured manually and mailed to me - this would only take 7-10 days. What!

I finally did get him to transfer me to the pay-off dept only to get to speak to someone who then informed me that I had reached the sales dept.? She gave me the number to the pay-off dept. Another phone call!

I then got a woman, American, who calmly gave me my pay-off and also helped take a payment. Homecomings Financial should be shut down permaently.

I mailed a payment in for my second note on 8-9-07 and they cashed it but were holding it for some ungodly reason and they never could explain that one. So I applied $1000 to it and paid my house payment for the month of September.

Every month I get very nervous when I open my house bill for fear they have lost either last months payment or all of my escrow.
