SJM Marketing, Platium Plus I got a on line loan from this company on 12. Paid them $60 every two weeks from 12-30-05 till 7-12-06 paying $840. I recieved a phone call demanding payment of $541

I got a $200 loan from this company back on 12-5 and started payments on 12-30-05 of $60.00 every two weeks. Normally this would be paid down after the 3rd $60.00, but it kept going till july 12, after paying $840.00 whereas I contacted my bank to put a stop payment on any further action.

I was contacted on 8-30-07 regarding this matter and they DEMANDED $541.00, but were willing to settle for $399.82 because of my age. Within one hour and 45 minutes after the phone conversation it will clear this debt. Unfortunately my husband is on a limited income (disability) and I work at a job that pays $592.00 every two weeks.

As a side note to this is the people that contacted me regarding this loan were very rude and very unprofessional in their manner. I was threatened of being charged with internet banking fraud. I do pay my obligations but when it comes to paying an overt amount of $840.00, I felt enough was enough and it would never clear the debt.
