James And Picorelly
Ripoff Fraudulant Collection Agency

Business & Finance

I was contacted by this "firm" being told that I owed close to 1200.00 the first time, and 3 months later, it had jumped to over 1700.00. The fax they sent me of the description of debt only added up to 1/4 of the cost asked for by the "firm". Also, the name on the account was not my name. Similar, but not mine. I have checked this business out every possible way, and they do not exist. I have checked with the Better Business Bureau and they do not have them listed. I would think that most firms dealing with financial situations would want people to know that they are ligit. I am now contacting my attorney and the state attorney general about this situation. I knew something was wrong when I agreed to mail them a check, and they said that they don't take checks by phone, only over the phone. Very strange. They have continually threatened to report this to the credit bureau, and I know that legally they cannot do this while I am disputing the debt. But they sure yell and throw little tantrums trying to intimidate me by the threat.
