Fraudulent company

On 4-17-07 I started diligently looking into what it would take to secure a government grant to start a local coffee shop. I sent out many request via online. I was contacted by an Amy White. She told me the services that I could use through them to secure the grant. For a "small fee" I would have at my disposal 100 underwriters to help write the Business Plan fit to the standards the government needs to provide the money. She told me to ensure I ask for a direct deposit into my account. She told me the realm of what I qualified for and told me I needed to sign a contract within 72 hours.

On the last day she contacted me again to ensure I was in fact going to go through with this option. I sent out the money with the proceedures they requested. She provided her "personal" number of 503-853-7126 to her desk. She said if at any time I had questions to give her a call.

Within the next couple of weeks I received a questionaire and a phone call from a Helen Goldman. She stated I needed to write my own Business Plan and send it back to them within 3 weeks. Again, I followed the guidelines and did as such. They recieved this package on 7-2-07. I spoke again with Helen Goldman and she said her "people" had 10 business days to get back with me on any questions they might have. I began calling on 7-14-07. I was notified via voice recording that IC Services was in their "dormaint" time and would return later.

I waited a week and phone again to recieve the same voice recording. I then began emailing and calling every other day trying to get in contact with a "human" voice.

As of 8-13-07, I have yet to get a hold of anyone. I took my lunch time to phone the "personal" phone number only to be told it isn't a valid number. It was then I searched on the net with that phone number and IC Service combination that I find I am NOT the only one to be taken for a ride.

Like all who have written in, I would like the refund of my $464.00. I would like to find out how to remove NON-Creditable companies from online. This has been a quite sad adventure for myself, as I have/had a dream of opening this coffee shop and now and leary of entering such a field with all the scams.
