Foreclosure penalties and legal fees

I was late by 2 weeks making a mortgage payment, and was already sent to the foreclosure proceedings. I tried to pay my monthly fee, and ocwen refused to accept it.in a 5 week time period, my principal remaining balance went from 69,000, to over 85,000 because of legal fee's late fee's and penalties. Over fourteen thousand in bogus charges. I was called at all hours of the day and night, called at 7 am on a sunday and have endured a tremendous ammount of harrassment. This has to be illeagal, what they are doing!
